House featured in Anteprojectos magazine

house, an Escala Absoluta project in Tavarede, Figueira da Foz, was presented on page 99 of Anteprojectos magazine. The printed project reference is dated 9 May 2025.

Designing from the slope

The proposal arranges a four-bedroom house over basement, ground floor and attic. The siting follows the shape of the land and works with different orientations: the bedroom wing relates to the adjacent building, while the remaining volume follows the street.

The pool occupies a lower level, creating a sheltered leisure area connected to the various levels of the house.

Materials and interior openness

Timber, stone and dark tones are combined with light surfaces. The canopies take part in the expression of the building and in solar shading.

On the ground floor, living room, kitchen with island and dining area are arranged as one open space. The attic includes a mezzanine over the living room, a bedroom and a bathroom. Next to the pool, the basement gathers service functions with independent access.
