Privacy Policy

Protecting privacy and personal data is a priority and a commitment of Escala Absoluta | Arquitectos. This policy explains what data we collect through this site, the purposes we use it for, how long we keep it and what your rights are.

Data controller

Escala Absoluta | Arquitectos, head office at Rua do Matadouro 2, 3080-014 Figueira da Foz, and branch office at Via do Oriente 4, Office 2, Parque das Nações, 1990-514 Lisbon, Portugal.

Data protection questions can be sent to geral@escalaabsoluta.pt or by registered post to the head office.

Data we collect

  • Contact and proposal forms: name, email, telephone, the location you indicate and the message you write.
  • Client Portal access request: name, tax identification number, email and telephone.
  • Cost simulator: answers about the intended project and, if you ask to be contacted, your contact details.
  • Plot analysis request: location or coordinates, plot details, project intention, contacts and any documents you attach.
  • Technical browsing data, such as the IP address and aggregated site usage information.

Purposes and legal basis

Data is processed to answer your request, prepare proposals and pre-contractual steps, deliver the requested services, comply with legal obligations and keep our platforms secure.

We collect only the data needed for each purpose. We do not use your data for advertising and do not pass it to third parties for commercial purposes.

Processors and sharing

We use technology providers for hosting, database, messaging and request management. They process data solely on our instructions and under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

Retention

We keep data for as long as the purpose of collection requires and, where a contract exists, for the legal periods applicable to tax and professional liability. After those periods the data is deleted or anonymised.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including access control and authentication, encrypted communication, environment segregation and private storage of the documents you send, accessible only to the team responsible for the analysis.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing and, where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting processing already carried out.

To exercise these rights write to geral@escalaabsoluta.pt. If you believe your rights were not respected, you may complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).
