Rolas Resort was featured in Anteprojectos. The Escala Absoluta hotel proposal values natural light and the relationship with the landscape of Quiaios and Ervedal.

Rolas Resort, an Escala Absoluta project, was presented on pages 18 and 19 of the February 2025 issue of Anteprojectos magazine. The text places the proposal on a site between Quiaios and Ervedal, surrounded by woodland and farmland.
Hospitality in contact with the landscape
The proposal seeks to bring a hotel together with its natural surroundings and with the leisure facilities described in the publication, including an equestrian arena and football and tennis courts.
The building has straight lines and façades in which white is combined with timber battens and stone cladding. The large glazed openings bring the interiors closer to the landscape.
Natural light and places to meet
The layout distinguishes the shared areas from the guests’ private spaces. Restaurants, lounge bars and a cafeteria form part of the shared areas.
Two glazed internal courtyards structure the lower floor and encourage daylight to enter. The publication highlights this solution as part of the search for generous, welcoming spaces.
