house, an Escala Absoluta project, was presented on pages 126 and 127 of the March 2025 issue of Anteprojectos magazine. Located in Chã, Figueira da Foz, the proposal develops a five-bedroom home on a single floor.
Living on one level
A central hall organises the passage between the social spaces and the private area. Kitchen, dining room and living room share an open space lit by large windows. The house also includes a study and everyday service areas.
The garden as an extension of the house
The pool, the covered porches and the barbecue extend life in the house outdoors. Concrete-slab paths organise the approaches and the terrace, while the planted areas reinforce the relationship with the surroundings.
White render, timber and dark stone define the exterior expression. The combination accompanies a proposal focused on function and on continuity between inside and outside.
